Director

In nearly every country adopting PPPs as a broad instrument of policy, the need has been recognized for a “Centre of PPP expertise” which is the Vision vested with our Mission “To introduce and communicate the PPP Policy, develop PPP practice and take a vital role in the sustainable delivery of the PPP projects”.

Our goals, succinctly, are several:

We wish to articulate the country's PPP Policy so that its objectives and mechanisms are understood by contracting authorities and state agencies, funders, contractors, the press and the general public.

We hope to also provide a forum for thoughtful analysis of major issues that may impede the country’s PPP program and orchestrating their resolution. This will include discussions, via our Discussion Forum page, for debates and responses to tenders, projects, newsletters and articles that will appear in the PPPU website. We urge you to employ this forum as we endeavour to meet your needs.

We will also strive to identify new voices in the PPP field, from all over the world by being the “intelligence gatherer” and sharing best practice and experience aimed at appreciate the development of PPP practice in other countries.

To fulfill the country’s PPP agenda, multiple critical interfaces with the different infrastructure players is critical. In this context, the website also provides useful links to other infrastructure sites that contain more information, should it be necessary.

It is our sincere hope that this website will meet your expectations and that you will not hesitate to contact us for any comment or queries relating to PPP projects in the country.
